Update: The International Federation of Journalists has appealed for 'Solidarity with media Victims of Earthquake in Peru,' according to a press release. It also noted that the International News Safety Institute has issued a safety alert for journalists covering the earthquake in Peru to help them deal with the potential trauma that can follow reporting from such a disaster.

Lawrence Summers was featured on PBS' Charlie Rose program this evening in an hour-long interview. A short on free trade and Peru starts around minute 21:00.]
