TODAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:
Today's Peruvia offers a panoply of events from meteorites crashing to cuy-eating, from Machu Picchu being 'loved to death' to a debate on whether Yale University is sending all the ruin's artifacts back. The August 15 earthquake receives another United Nations update and reporters in northern and southern Peru are under attack.

Finally, congratulations to Daniela Macias Brandes on winning the Pan Am Badminton Junior Championships Mixed Doubles, U-11.
